An analysis and evaluation of leading decisions of the United States Supreme Court dealing with the granting of authority to national institutions. Although the major part of the course will deal with landmark cases bearing on the Federal System and Separation of Powers, attention will also be devoted to contemporary constitutional issues upon which students are expected to take normative positions.
