A systematic review of the roots of psychology in philosophy and physiology; emphasizes the historical development of and connections in thought and methods among major subfields of contemporary psychology. Admission to the course is limited to third and fourth year psychology majors who obtain permission of the instructor based upon superior grade point averages.
