3 Semester Hours This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the fi eld of School Psychology, including its historical antecedents and contemporary educational, legal, and system issues that impact the profession. Content will include review of the multiple roles of school psychologists, pertinent laws and court decisions and ethics that impact services. State and national standards that govern the training of school psychologists will be highlighted. Field assignments required (i.e., interviews and obervations will give students insight into their future vocation).
