3 Semester Hours This course is designed to prepare candidates to be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in managing environments for diverse learners that are safe and effective and that facilitate positive self-esteem and self-advocacy. In addition, the candidate will be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of behavior management strategies, varying communication styles that impact learning and laws and regulations for promoting behavior that is positive and self-regulatory.
