3 Semester Hours Custom and semi-custom design of VLSI circuits using standard cells, design methodologies of advanced complementary metal-oxidesemiconductor (CMOS) circuits, and simulation of designed circuits will be emphasized. At the end of the semester, circuits designed by the students will be sent for fabrication through MOSIS and later tested by the students for functionality. Prerequisite: ELEC 383 or permission of instructor.
