2 Semester Hours An interdisciplinary seminar series bringing together faculty from different disciplines to present and discuss topics in biotechnology. Examples include sustainable agriculture, advances in medicine and biotechnology, legal and ethical considerations and biotechnology, the environment and biotechnology, the manipulation of biological machinery (proteins), the fusion of engineering and biotechnology (nanotechnology), the business of biotechnology.
