3 Semester Hours Study of basic surveying and related computations for topographic surveys, horizontal and vertical curves, and the design of highways. The course will include computer aided design and geographic information systems (applications of AutoCAD to civil engineering design and fundamentals of GIS using ArcView). Lecture, 2 hours; Laboratory, 4 hours. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing.
