3 Semester Hours This course examines and practices basic elements of stage direction. Students will explore script analysis from a director's point of view, develop and practice effective communication with actors and designers, and learn to identify elements of direction that communicate story, theme, and concept. Lab fee. Theatre Arts majors/minors only. Prerequisites: THEA 111, 120, and 220.
