0 Semester Hours ARTsmart is the community service program of the Department of Art and Art History. The mission of ARTsmart is to provide underserved youth an education in the visual arts. LMU Art and Art History students work in teams to develop and teach lessons that incorporate formal art issues, art history, visual culture, social justice issues, and standardsbased education to students in a neighboring K-8 school. Students from a variety of art disciplines are encouraged to volunteer.
