3 Semester Hours This is the second in a two-semester sequence in accounting required of all business majors and is a prerequisite to all other accounting courses. Building on the basic understanding of accounting systems developed in ACCT 211, managerial accounting introduces concepts of cost behavior and analysis, as well as techniques for using operational and fi nancial information within the business fi rm for decision-making, planning, and control. Prerequisites: ACCT 211 with a minimum grade of C (2.0) and MATH 112 or 131.
