Content includes application of public health nursing principles, levels of prevention, epidemiology and health education. Expands the role of the nurse as a teacher, collaborator and advocate. Examines the effect of health care delivery trends and issues on the health of populations. Prerequisites: For Pre-licensure BSN Majors: HLTH328, HLTH352, NURS325, NURS327, NURS326.
