This course provides an overview of the supply chain function for an organization. The supply chain for any company is described as the continuous sequence of events and operations that add value to the firm. Topics will include purchasing and procurement, inbound and outbound logistics and transportation, operations and manufacturing planning and control, forecasting, quality control, enterprise resource planning and overall information system design for the firm.
