Emphasis will be placed on presenting techniques for improving individual and team athletic performance, as well as consideration of the psychological aspects of coaching. Specific topics will include personality and sport, attention/anxiety/arousal regulation, motivational techniques, the aggression-performance relationship, and the development of team cohesion and leadership.
