This is the first half of two-course sequence. This course covers organization of the human body, basic principles of chemistry, the integumentary system, the skeletal and muscular systems, the nervous system and the special senses. Laboratory experiences are designed to compliment the lecture topics. This course may not be used as a general education natural science elective nor does this sequence apply toward a major or minor in biological science.
