The course examines the many ways animal groups solve the problem of maintaining internal homeostasis. Neural control, endocrine systems, gas exchange, energy acquisition and temperature regulation are a few of the topics examined. The lab is closely tied to the lecture material using non-invasive live animal experiments and computer interfaced data gathering and analysis. Prerequisites: BIOL250 and CHEM116. (3,3) 4
