Description:
Students will be invited to work hands-on in an open studio environment, examining the development of their own visual language in relation to the media and methodologies presented. Participants will be invited to draw from personal experiences as well as from their environment as catalysts for art making. All will be encouraged to work with acrylic, watercolors, water-based oils, drawing media, photographs/laser copies, found materials, etc. At the end of the course, participants will be required to present a brief seminar with essay. Prerequisites: ARTS109. Equivalent to FINE178 + VISA 2786 for BRIDGE. (3,0) 3
