This course engages students in the process of creative thinking, visual logic, and graphic communication. Whether students are interested in powerful and persuasive presentation, making a personally pleasing aesthetic decision, or setting a mood, the ability to direct and control visual cues is very important. Classes will be organized around a series of problems dealing with essential design concepts. Students will learn about and execute projects involving composition; line; space; color and mood; and deciphering the advertising world.
