Prerequisite: ART 101 or 221 or 331 or permission of instructor. Designed to coincide with major museum exhibitions in New York during the semester it is being taught. For many, if not all in the class, the readings (text as well as other selected readings), lectures and discussions will culminate in a trip to New York City to view the work that has been covered in class. Not offered on a regular basis.
