F. This course will focus on the concepts of health promotion and health protection for young, middle, and older adults in the context of their families and communities. Topics will include primary, secondary, and tertiary health protection and health promotion including community based care and role development. The student will learn about partnerships with adults to actively promote health as well as protecting health during times of acute and chronic illness. Prerequisites: N327, N328, and N329.
