This course gives students a broad overview of the fields of physics and astronomy through guest lectures by active researchers, focused readings and discussions of Science, Technology, and Society issues, and presentations by students enrolled in Physics 295 & 296. A student may earn honors credit in an approved introductory physics course by completing a paper and, at the instructor's option, a class presentation on an approved topic. This course may be taken multiple times.
