F. An introduction in seminar format to several different topics in mathematics not otherwise part of the undergraduate program. Topics vary by semester, but will include both classical and recent results and both theoretical and applied topics. The goals of the course are to acquaint students with the breadth of mathematics and to provide opportunity for students interested in mathematics to study these topics together. All first-year students interested in mathematics (regardless of prospective major program) are welcome to register. This course will be graded on a credit/ no-credit basis.
