This is the third course in a three-course intensive sequence of language study, which aims to develop proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in French, allowing an intermediate level of interaction with native speakers and understanding of authentic text. An introductory study of francophone cultures provides insights into the historical, cultural, sociological and faith contexts that have shaped the French language. Completion of French 123 ( or French 202) satisfies the foreign language core requirement
