F and S. A further investigation of the visual and technical aspects of clay, glazes, and other media. This course will require the production of a portfolio of ceramic objects. Special attention will be given to the use of particular production methods, issues of presentation, and the relationship between concept and process. Critical theory specific to ceramics is addressed through readings, lectures, and class projects. Materials fee. Prerequisite: Art Studio 258.
