F. This course focuses on dynamic, interactive interface website design. Using WYSIWYG editors, vector, bitmapped graphics and motion, and MP3 audio are integrated to produce website portals that are usable and intuitive in the visualization of their navigation. Students will learn how to use low-bandwidth, high-impact, image-based software that allows users to navigate through linear, nonlinear, spatial, parallel, hierarchical, and matrix timeline structures, which lead to useful, virtual interaction. Projects are designed to construct visual interfaces, which optimize site navigation without programming. Materials fee. Prerequisite: Art Studio 255.
