Unique Course This course is a study of occupational safety and health as it relates to technologists and managers. Topics will include accident prevention, hazard recognition, OSHA and OSH Act rules, NIOSH, record keeping, workplace liability, workers compensation, and analysis and prevention of workplace accidents. Emphasis will be placed on safety inspection, record keeping, identification of hazards, rules and laws, OSHA and NIOSH, and education and prevention of accidents. 3 semester hours
