Unique Course This course must be taken concurrently with PSYC 405. This course is designed to give students the opportunity to gain hands on experience using the concepts and techniques common to the investigation of motivation and emotion. The first part of the course will consist of demonstrational laboratory exercises involving both human and animal subjects. These labs will emphasize proper data collection techniques, the consideration of experimental design, data analysis and interpretation of results and the written presentation of findings. Toward the latter part of the semester students will have the opportunity to design, conduct, and original investigation. Additional Fee: An additional 'Mandatory Fee' applies to this course.PreRequisite: PSYC-101; BIOL-103 or BIOL-151 CoRequisite: PSYC-405 1 semester hours
