Unique Course A course designed to help students gain a better understanding of the vocal mechanism, its physiology and correct usage. Students will study the basic techniques of singing and methods for the teaching of singing. Topics such as acoustics, breathing, registration, resonance, vowels, articulation and the developing voice will be explored. In addition, students will survey the Art Song with an emphasis on song literature particularly suitable for school age pupils. 2 semester hours
