Common Course Number & Description This course is designed to teach students the relationship between the tactics, techniques, and equipment used in fly-fishing and the reasons fish do the things they do. Basic casting techniques, equipment, types and selection of flies, knots, and aquatic biology are covered both in the classroom and on a variety of local streams and lakes. PreRequisite: Prerequisite: Current South Dakota fishing license required. 1 semester hours
