Unique Course This course provides students with the academic and personal strategies necessary for making a successful transition to the university environment. This course helps students maintain a balance between their personal and academic lives while teaching them such skills as learning strategies, time management, class-notes taking, test-taking techniques, decision-making skills, self-assessment exploration, and goal-setting. Use of campus resources that will assist students in reaching their educational goals are also introduced. Prerequisites include admission to BHSU and motivation to succeed academically at the university level. 1 semester hours
