Unique Course Assessment of water quality and the origin of pollutants in a watershed are investigated in this interdisciplinary course. Geology and land use are examined and used as the basis for student designed sampling schemes. Biological, chemical, and physical methods are employed to characterize samples both in the field and in the laboratory. Results and conclusions of student projects are presented orally and in written form. PreRequisite: CHEM-112 CoRequisite: CHEM-355L 3 semester hours
