A study of how to communicate successfully with people of different cultures, including people of different ages, sexes, races, nationalities, religions, etc. The first half of the course covers the traditional literature on intercultural communication. The second half introduces the research and theory of "Diffusion of Innovations," with special emphasis on attempting to diffuse innovations in an intercultural setting.
