3 hours; 3 credits Students will read and discuss the works of leading historians and philosophers of history. The instructor will require critiques of the works assigned and/or a research paper on a particular theme. The course provides students with an opportunity to read works by important thinkers and to sharpen their analytic writing and reading skills. Prerequisites: Tier II in history and ENG 2150 or departmental permission.
