2-2 hours An introductory course in Biblical Hebrew, emphasizing mastery of basic grammar. Students develop a usable vocabulary and the ability to translate simple passages. It emphasizes the ability to translate selected passages with the aid of reference tools. Special emphasis is given to the value of Hebrew in the practice of ministry. Laboratory work is required. Prerequisite for RL 413: RL 312.
