3 hours A study of definitions and characteristics of behaviors which have at different times, and in different places, been considered deviant. Such behaviors include criminality, mental illness, alcoholism, drug addiction, abortion, prostitution, and pornography. Interdisciplinary theories are introduced to facilitate an understanding of these behaviors, their diagnosis, management, control, and prevention. Prerequisite: SO 101.
