3 hours This course focuses on the nursing care of young, middle, and older adult patients with critical, complex disorders. This course will focus on the development of nursing leadership/manage?ment skills. Professional nursing knowledge and advanced psychomotor skills will be utilized in the care of critically ill patients. Professional nursing principles for health maintenance and restoration adults will be addressed from a developmental perspective. Spiritual, cultural, ethical, legal, and socioeconomic factors will be considered. Management concepts will be operationalized using the patterns of knowing. Prerequisites: NU410, NU412, NU 413. Core Prerequisites: NU411, NU417, NU421.
