2-2 hours This course uses the linguistic similarities between English and New Testament Greek grammars toward the mastery of the morphology and the syntax of New Testament Greek. Students develop a usable vocabulary and the ability to translate simple passages. It emphasizes the application of Greek grammar to the understanding of the biblical text. Students develop the ability to translate selected passages with the aid of reference tools. Special emphasis is given to the value of Greek in the practice of ministry. Laboratory work is required. Prerequisite for RL 313: RL 212.
