3 hours This course is the study of the physiologic changes that occur as a result of disease processes and functions of the body. Alterations, the mechanisms involved, and their manifestations as signs, symptoms, and physical and laboratory findings are examined in order to provide the common bond linking microbiology, chemistry, anatomy, and biochemistry to clinical practice. Prerequisites: BI 111 and BI 112, BI 221, CH 101 and CH 102.
