4 hours The associate degree and diploma nurse are oriented to the roles of the baccalaureate nurse through the exploration of professional issues. Students are introduced to the philosophy and conceptual framework of the bachelor of science program at Oakwood University. Theoretical models are examined. This course provides a systematic and comprehensive approach to health assessment and decision making. Campus laboratory experiences are required. Prerequisite: admission to the BS completion option in nursing.
