3 hours In this course the theory of electric and magnetic phenomena is studied. The following are some of the topics that will be included: electrostatic and magnetic fields, introduction and use of vector analysis, circuit elements, electromagnetic effects of currents, radiation and Maxwell's equation. Offered when required. Prerequisites: one year of college physics and one year of calculus.
