3 hours A study of the methods and structure involved in promoting all aspects of health. The student will explore the different areas of health and the specific ways to promote those areas to different populations. Included in the course content will be actual promotion of on-campus health activities, including but not limited to, stress-reduction seminars, exercise evaluation clinics, and a wellness day experience. The student will also obtain the skill necessary to manage a group of volunteer employees and learn the concepts of health management. Prerequisite: PE 211.
