3 hours This course is designed to familiarize the student with the fundamental principles of the laws of business so they act intelligently and understand their rights, duties, and inabilities in ordinary business transactions. Contracts, bailment, sales, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, and agency and employment relationships are covered. Emphasis is given to the Uniform Commercial Code. Prerequisites: junior standing.
