3 hours This course introduces students to the concepts of information processing using computer technology. Intermediate and advanced concepts of word processing, spreadsheets, and database processing are required using the Microsoft Office suite of software. Once these skills are mastered, they learn computer-based business problem solving. As a part of the course, students are expected to use personal computers and solve business problems using Excel and Access. Prerequisite: IT 120
