Corequisites, POSC 474, POSC 475, and consent of the Political Science Department Chair. This course introduces students to the role of economics in the context of policy-making, as well as where policy-making involves more than economics, yet cannot be separated from economics. Examples will be drawn from current Administration policy initiatives, government economic policy, and ongoing legislative battles in Congress. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits.
