Prerequisite, MATH 206. This course focuses on preparing future elementary school teachers. The course covers rational numbers, real numbers, algebra, statistics, probability, geometric shapes, measurement, geometry using triangle congruence and similarity. Conceptual understanding is emphasized. In presenting the material, several instructional techniques may be modeled. These techniques may be incorporated when preparing your own lesson plans.
