Prerequisite, PSY 101. An introduction to the scientific study of how groups and individuals interact. Cognition, feelings, impressions, and attitudes influence and are influenced by the presence of others according to the precepts of Social Psychology. Topics include manipulation and influence tactics, persuasion, attraction, aggression, altruism, self-concept, stereotypes, and cognition and behavioral congruence.
