(Same as SOC 492.) Prerequisite, SOC 293, or consent of instructor. Students begin supervised fieldwork in a human service agency concentrating on case planning and organizational analysis. This course also provides classroom analysis of the fieldwork practicum, focusing upon establishing basic casework and organizational skills and techniques of the social work profession. (Offered every year.) 3 credits.
