This course covers the 1960s era through the early Nixon Administration (1970) with special emphasis on the Civil Rights movement. Topics addressed in the course include: The Cold War, resurgence of the cult of domesticity, the Great Society, the Vietnam War, the evolution of the counter-culture movement, and the Women's Rights movement.
