ARAB 101 proficiency required for ARAB 102. Students develop beginning level skills in reading, writing and speaking Arabic. Students will study basic grammar and vocabulary and will have listening and speaking practice. Students will strengthen reading and writing skills through different mechanisms including popular media and literary selections while also noting customs and cultures of the Arabic-speaking world.
