Introduces the principles, methods of reasoning and procedures pertinent to the collection, summarization, analysis and presentation of biomedical data. Laboratory sessions are included to facilitate data handling and analysis. Topics include sampling and experimental design, descriptive statistics, probability, statistical inference and interpretation of results, simple regression and clinical trials.
