Lecture/demonstration experience, examining the theoretical and clinical basis for the use of therapeutic modalities. This course will provide knowledge regarding the scientific basis and physiological effects of various modalities on the healing process and on specific injuries. This course also provides detailed instructions in the safe and appropriate use of therapeutic modalities. Prerequisite: ESSM 230A. Corequisite: ESSM 321L.
